Dermatology is one of the earliest specialties established by the Third Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University (Luohu District People's Hospital). In recent years, the outpatient volume has significantly increased, with an annual outpatient volume of 50000 people, which has had a certain impact in surrounding areas such as Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, and has solved the problems of many skin and sexually transmitted disease patients. I have rich clinical experience in common and difficult skin diseases such as dermatitis, eczema, herpes zoster, acne, psoriasis, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus, pemphigus, as well as genital warts, syphilis, etc. Especially for some difficult diseases, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has good therapeutic effects.

The department has advanced red and blue light therapy equipment, whole-body narrow spectrum ultraviolet (NB-UVB) therapy equipment, carbon dioxide laser, helium neon laser, laser photon workstation, liquid nitrogen freezing and other treatment devices.

Carry out projects

At present, projects such as hair removal, skin rejuvenation, laser treatment for vascular tumors, pigmentary skin diseases, common sexually transmitted disease testing, allergen testing, etc. have been carried out.

Scientific research and teaching

In the past three years, the department has successfully undertaken nearly 10 provincial and municipal continuing education projects, published several papers in domestic core journals, and is currently undertaking one provincial-level scientific research project in Guangdong.
