Department Overview

The Radiography Department breaks regional boundaries and integrates high-quality radiology diagnosis and treatment resources from Luohu Hospital, Luohu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Together with 48 community health units under the district's medical and elderly care integrated geriatric hospital and community health service center, it has created a truly medical remote diagnosis center with Luohu characteristics.

The department utilizes the existing PACS network and integrates imaging resources within the region to form RPACS, which enables remote image reading and consultation. Medical imaging experts directly read images and diagnostic reports for patients online, and provide real-time feedback on diagnosis results and opinions through HIS and EMR. Based on this, it gradually builds a unified standard, interconnected, resource sharing, safe and practical medical imaging consultation platform. In addition to providing high-quality and efficient services for 48 social health centers, the medical remote diagnosis center also provides film reading diagnosis consultation services for hospitals in remote areas such as Chayu County, Linzhi Prefecture, Xizang, Longlin County, Xilin County, Guangxi, Kashi, Guangdong Lufeng, and Bijie, Guizhou. Some private medical institutions actively apply to join the Luohu Remote Diagnosis Center platform.

The LuohuPeople’sHospital campus has a total equipment value of over 70 million yuan, including one 128 row high-end spiral ICT, one 16 row spiral CT, one 1.5T MRI machine, three digital X-ray machines (DR), one digital gastrointestinal machine, one digital breast molybdenum palladium machine, and two bedside DR machines.

We have comprehensively carried out the examination and diagnosis of ordinary X-rays, CT, and MR; Capable of diagnosing diseases in various systems of the human body, including central nervous system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, endocrine system, urinary system, reproductive system, musculoskeletal system, and facial features, and conducting interventional treatment work. The introduction of 256 slice CT has enabled coronary imaging and peripheral vascular CTA examination, with high diagnostic accuracy. Its operation and diagnostic level are among the top in the medical system of Shenzhen; The Shimadzu digital X-ray machine can achieve full spine imaging, which is of great significance for the clinical diagnosis of scoliosis, the development of braces or surgical correction plans.
