Stomatology is a tertiary comprehensive hospital department that integrates oral prevention and health care, treatment, restoration, orthodontics, and implantation. The department currently has eight sub specialties: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Implantology, Periodontal Mucosa, Pediatric Dentistry, and Alveolar Surgery. The dental department is located in four places: the guest headquarters, the Chunfeng campus, the Guomao Commercial Building, and the East Gate. In November 2017, Luohu Hospital Group (a public institution) established a dental center, which integrated the four dental departments mentioned above, as well as the dental departments of the district traditional Chinese medicine hospital and the group's social health management center, into the center's integrated management.

We have the most advanced OC200D digital dental imaging system and KAVO large field CBCT, porcelain Ruike chair immediate restoration system, nitrous oxide sedation system, VDW root apex locator, cold light teeth whitening device, Florida periodontal electron probe examination device, semiconductor laser therapy device, ultrasonic bone knife, ITI implant system and other treatment equipment in the world. The department adopts the oral diagnosis and treatment standards of "one person, one machine" and "four handed operation". All instruments in the dental department are sent to the group's disinfection and supply center for disinfection and sterilization to prevent cross infection and ensure the safety of every patient's visit.

The group leaders attach great importance to the development of dentistry, and have provided strong support and assistance in talent introduction, business premises, equipment and consumables procurement, etc. With the joint efforts of all dental staff, it has developed rapidly, and the center management is more standardized, standardized, and strict. In 2019, the proportion of third - and fourth level surgeries in the surgical ward was nearly 40%, with nearly 300 discharges and an annual outpatient volume of nearly 115000 (excluding the dental department of the community health center).

5. Oral Implantology Department

The dental implant specialty has introduced KAVO wide field CT and professional implant software. The management of the implant operating room strictly follows the JCI international standard process, comprehensively improving the level of preoperative diagnosis and program design, and ensuring the safety and success of implant surgery.
