Department Introduction

The outpatient service of the infectious diseases Department, formerly known as the fever outpatient service, was urgently established during the epidemic of SARS (infectious atypical pneumonia) in 2003. On September 20, 2016, our hospital integrated the original fever clinic, intestinal clinic, love clinic andHepatology Clinic, and officially established the infectious diseases department (outpatient).

It is committed to the screening of infectious diseases and the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, and carries out infectious disease prevention and control, treatment, consultation, publicity and education, science popularization and other work. It has developed into a comprehensive clinical discipline that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research.

1、Fever Clinic

The fever clinic of Luohu Hospital continuously expands its functions, area, and service capabilities in accordance with the national public health development strategy and hospital medical needs. After the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, Luohu Hospital, based on the anti epidemic strategic deployment, carried out the reconstruction of "three areas and two channels" for fever clinics again in September 2020, and completed the reconstruction project in January 2021, giving full play to the role of "sentinel" of medical institutions for the hospital's fight against SARS and COVID-19 epidemic, realizing timely discovery, rapid disposal, precise control, effective treatment, and doing a good job in the normalization of epidemic prevention and control; In the post epidemic era, fever clinics will provide professional and considerate diagnosis and treatment services for infectious diseases patients with fever symptoms, and build an effective barrier for hospitals to prevent and control infectious diseases.

(3) Standardized diagnosis and treatment of diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms (such as viruses, bacteria, mycoplasma, spirochetes, rickettsia, fungi) or parasites;

(6) Etiological diagnosis of infectious diseases and systematic and standardized anti infection treatment;

Department Honors:

The fever clinic of Luohu Hospital is the sentinel hospital of Shenzhen influenza and COVID-19 detection network, which cooperates with CDC sample sampling work, including the collection of influenza virus, avian influenza virus, COVID-19, foodborne diarrhea, hand foot and mouth disease samples, and is responsible for the transfer of samples of infectious diseases in the hospital, so that the samples are not lost or damaged, there is registration after the handover, there is a flow direction, and the quality and quantity are completed, so that the epidemic situation of infectious diseases in the jurisdiction can be effectively monitored and controlled, and the health barrier for residents can be built.

2、Love Clinic

In October 2015, our hospital actively responded to the call of the Shenzhen Health and Family Planning Commission and became the designated hospital for free anti-virus treatment of AIDS at the district level. On February 9, 2017, our love clinic (free anti-virus clinic) successfully passed the acceptance of the expert group of AIDS Diagnosis and Treatment Quality Control Center in Shenzhen. On September 17, 2018, the love clinic of Luohu District People's Hospital officially opened, which is also the first designated hospital for anti-virus treatment of AIDS at the district level in Shenzhen. To provide HIV infected people with standard anti-virus treatment, health education, follow-up management and other services, improve the quality of life of infected people, reach the life expectancy of normal people, reduce transmission, and then curb the prevalence of AIDS. The medical staff of the Love Clinic have all gone to Shenzhen Third People's Hospital for further education and passed the assessment, providing high-quality services to patients with rich clinical experience and selfless love.

3、Hepatology Clinic

Based on a high starting point, theHepatology ClinicDepartment has established a highly skilled and high-quality professional technical team. Our team has long been committed to the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and research of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, liver failure, liver cancer, autoimmune liver disease, drug-induced hepatitis, fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, Wilson's disease, and unexplained liver disease. We have taken the lead in conducting theoretical exploration, experimental research, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment for pre liver failure nationwide, which has shown good efficacy in preventing its progression to liver failure. We have also taken the lead in formulating a clinical pathway for pre liver failure in traditional Chinese medicine across the country. Participated in the development of China's first "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine Liver Injury" and the revision of the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Differentiation Standards for Viral Hepatitis", and developed a series of traditional Chinese medicine preparations for the treatment of chronic liver disease. Published 72 papers, 9 SCI papers, edited 1 textbook on Infectious Diseases, participated in the compilation of 5 academic papers, and led and participated in 27 national, provincial, and municipal level research projects. Received 2 provincial and municipal science and technology awards, and 1 first prize for teaching achievements at Nanchang University.
