Thoracic surgery is a relatively mature department that can perform various routine thoracic surgeries, including lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors, etc. Thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgery accounts for over 90%.

The Luohu characteristics of safety, efficiency, and fewer complications have been demonstrated in difficult surgeries such as thoracoscopic lung segmentectomy, thoracoscopic combined esophageal cancer resection, and mediastinal giant tumor resection. Surgical procedures such as hyperhidrosis, pneumothorax, and pectus excavatum correction can achieve a discharge time of 1-2 days, and our hospital is one of the earliest units in Shenzhen to carry out da Vinci robotic surgery.

At the same time, our department also serves as a teaching staff for Shantou University and Anhui University of Science and Technology.
