Department Overview

Rehabilitation Medicine is a specialized department with modern rehabilitation medicine theories and treatment methods as its diagnostic and therapeutic features. It is a collaborative unit of the national key research and development plan project "Management of Cerebrovascular Disease Movement and Cognitive Rehabilitation System", and an internship teaching site for Jingchu University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College, and Changsha Health Vocational College. We have a team of rehabilitation physicians and therapists with reasonable structure and rich clinical experience. The inpatient department of the department is equipped with a rehabilitation assessment room and seven independent rehabilitation treatment rooms: exercise therapy room, physical therapy room, speech therapy room, occupational therapy room, traditional rehabilitation therapy room, and high-frequency therapy room. Establish separate rehabilitation clinics and outpatient treatment rooms. Introducing a complete set of advanced rehabilitation equipment that can meet the medical rehabilitation needs of patients with various physical and speech disabilities, cognitive disabilities, urinary and fecal incontinence, neck, shoulder, waist, leg pain, and soft tissue injuries.

The Rehabilitation Medicine Department is equipped with advanced treatment equipment, such as imported transcranial magnetic stimulators, transcranial direct current stimulators, shock wave therapy devices, ultra laser pain therapy devices, swallowing therapy devices, ultra short wave, short wave, infrared polarized light, low-frequency therapy devices, ultrasound therapy devices, cervical and lumbar traction therapy devices, spinal pulse guns, etc Motomed rehabilitation training equipment, neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy device, intermediate frequency therapy device, direct current therapy device, infrared, ultraviolet, air pressure therapy device, magnetic resonance heat therapy device, traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy device, electric standing bed, various exercise therapy devices, occupational therapy equipment, Chinese aphasia psychological language evaluation and treatment system. It has formed its own characteristics in the rehabilitation of stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, shoulder periarthritis, bone and joint diseases, orthopedic surgery and other diseases. It provides featured movement therapy, physical factor therapy, speech swallowing therapy, cognitive therapy, manual therapy, orthosis production, intramuscular plaster therapy, acupuncture and moxibustion, cupping and other treatments.

Diagnosis and treatment projects carried out

(1) Rehabilitation of neurological disorders:

Rehabilitation of motor, sensory, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments caused by stroke, traumatic brain injury, and brain tumors; Rehabilitation of motor, sensory, and urinary and bowel dysfunction caused by spinal cord injury, myelitis, and Guillain Barre syndrome; Rehabilitation of facial neuritis, Parkinson's disease, and sciatica.

(2) Rehabilitation of pain:

Rehabilitation of various acute and chronic soft tissue injuries, lower back and leg pain, spinal facet joint displacement, and acute and chronic pain caused by various types of arthritis.

(3) Rehabilitation of bone and joint diseases:

Rehabilitation for conditions such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, shoulder periarthritis, postoperative fractures, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction of the knee joint, joint replacement surgery, hand trauma, osteoporosis, etc.

(4) Rehabilitation for other diseases:

Rehabilitation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. Rehabilitation of various acute and chronic inflammations, severe patients, and balance disorders.
