Department Overview
Established in 1957, the Department ofTCM Internal Medicine
is recognized as a national model unit for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in general hospitals and a leading demonstration TCM department in Shenzhen. It serves as the vice-chairman unit of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University’s TCM Specialist Alliance and operates the Pulmonary Disease (Cough and Asthma) Clinic, designated as a Guangdong Provincial TCM Characteristic Specialty and a branch of the National Regional (South China) TCM Pulmonary Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center. The team comprises senior physicians, mid-career experts, and young clinicians dedicated to evidence-based TCM practices.
